Description of 1932 Ford Model B Roadster Hot Rod Show Car |
Beautiful 1932 Ford Roadster built to look like a more traditional “50’s style Hot Rod” powered by 350 c.i. Chevrolet V-8, backed by a Turbo 350 3-speed automatic transmission, and 9” Ford differential. NO TRADES The fiberglass body is by Universal which is steel reinforced and painted using a 2- stage urethane black and red with professional pin striping added. The frame and undercarriage have also been sanded, prepped, painted and detailed to match the exterior of the Roadster. There is no evidence of cracking anywhere in the paint or body. Age of the build is unknown, only that 18,200 miles are showing on the Autometer odometer, and the current owner has put less than 200 miles on the car in 2 years. Please note the hood is held in place with 4 screws and does not tilt up or forward. The engine is believed to be a 350-crate motor with a mild hydraulic cam, Edelbrock 650 cfm carburetor and intake manifold, Sanderson ceramic coated shorty headers, thermostatically controlled electric fan, and HEI ignition. The interior is done in a traditional roll & pleat pattern using a heavy-duty grade vinyl and is in excellent condition (no tears or broken seams). The Autometer water, fuel, Speedo/odometer, oil pressure, and volt meter all function normally. A Kenwood AM/FM/stereo cassette player is mounted under the dash along with two speakers. A Locar floor shifter handles the shifting of the Turbo 350. The chassis and suspension uses square tubing for the frame, 2” dropped axle up front with 4-bar links and disc brakes while out back with the 9” Ford there are drum brakes, coil over shocks, and a 2-bar link suspension. Fifteen-inch Kelsey Hayes Ford wire wheels with Coker B.F. Goodrich wide white wall tires finish off the ride. Fronts are 225/60r/15 and the rear are 255/70r/15. All the brake lines are stainless steel, and the fuel lines are braided. The sixteen-gallon gas tank is polymer. The roadster is titled as a 1932 Ford and there is NO TOP. Owner is selling because of too many toys. PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING OR MAKING AN OFFER UNFORTUNATELY, DUE TO “FAKE BIDDERS” AND “GHOSTING” I REQUEST THE FOLLOWING……. PLEASE BUY WITH CONFIDENCE I have been an active eBay seller of cars and other items for more than 20 years and maintained a 100% rating during most of that period. Approximately 12 years ago I started an online service assisting owners of Classic, Vintage, and Muscle cars to sell their vehicles on the internet without them leaving the garage. These are private individual owners who do not want to deal with the public and all the endless phone calls, “Tire kickers”, and other nonsense that goes on when trying to sell a car. They just want someone to sell it!! References can be provided upon request. Feel free to call me at 410-937-0719 Thank you J.D. Kurzmann
