Description of 1989 Ford Mustang

89 mustang lx convertible 57,000 original miles. 5.0l manual transmission. I have done lots on this car, as it’s my hobby summer car. Have owned it approx 5yrs. I drive it less than 1,000 miles a year so it needs a new home. To my knowledge I am the second owner, bought from the son of the deceased owner. I believe he transferred it into his name to resell it. I have never had an accident. New top and pump, fresh battery new carpet, all suspension replaced, water pump, spark plugs, wires, filters, alternator, exide racing clutch, all a/c system replaced, saleen body kit, custom wheels. Car runs likes a like a champ. Mechanically it’s excellent drive it anywhere always starts right up. No warning lights to worry about.
NeedsBoth 1/4 windows are misalignedPaint looks good, has chips on the hood, few small dings.Small slow oil leak, rear main seal and valve cover gaskets have been done. Could be a hose or sensor somewhere. Master window switch needs to be looked into, sometimes it work sometimes it doesn’tPlease remember car is over 30 yrs old it’s not a new car or perfect.
