Description of 1976 Ford F-100 Ranger |
1976 Ford F-100 Ranger Short Bed Up for auction is this hard to find, all original, Arizona survivor SHORT BOX F-100 Ranger. These trucks are very desirable in this configuration. It’s an awesome, original truck with it’s incredible patina. The original 47 year paint and body has some very minor bumps and bruises but otherwise in fantastic, solid shape. There’s a small dent on the bottom of the passenger side door which is really the only noticeable bruise. Body is virtually rust free except fora small spot that is beginning to surface on the passenger rear quarter behind the tire about the size of 50 Cent piece. The interior is beautiful with a new reupholstered bench seat and new carpet. The interior door panels are original but the passenger side will eventually need to be replaced due to brittle cracking from our Arizona sun. All gauges and instrumentation works except the tach which is currently in operable. The 360 motor is very stout and robust and was said to have been rebuilt from the previous owner with a mild cam with very few miles since the build. The automatic transmission also is brand new and rebuilt with receipts. Exhaust system sounds amazing. The truck starts up, runs, drives and stops like it should. Wheels are brand new 15” with a vintage/modern look. Tires are brand new and the original size 225/75. The decision was made not to customize but rather leave stock and original for the new owner to build to suit or leave alone. These trucks are all the rage right now especially with Coyote power and a Lincoln front end! Not to mention a solid investment. Very hard to find in this complete and pristine condition! Thereonly old once! The truck has sold a couple of times on previous auctions but flakey buyers are irresponsible! Please be a responsible bidder and have your funds in order, but most of all get permission from your boss before you hit that bid button! |
