This 1949 Ford F has been mechanically restored with a 350 sbc engine and manual transmission. 4 wheel disc brakes. Front suspension is from a Jaguar. Air ride rear suspension. Dual exhaust. The bed is made to hinge at the front and you can see the rear frame and driveline and axle when lifted. I do have a new chrome front bumper that goes with it. Don't miss your chance to own this stunning piece of automotive history. Truck still needs to be wired. A wiring harness is in the cab. Headlights are in the cab. Most of the chrome trim is in the cab if not all of it. Needs a dual steel brake line hooked up to the brake booster. The special steel line set is in the cab. Needs glass and channels. The glass kit is available on eBay for $340 plus $85 shipping. There is a windshield rubber in the cab, but the 4 piece rubber kit, 2 door seals and front and back glass seals, door channels with felts and vent wing seals are $400 for everything. The only sheet metal work needed is the driver’s floor (see picture). Basically estimates are under $1,000 for parts to finish. Otherwise your time in finishing is what’s needed. You can see the potential value of one of these trucks on the J D Power value picture. I’m asking under the low value of $17,000 because it’s not finished.
