This is a really cool old truck with great Patina and tremendous potential.
The Springtime Yellow and white two tone paint scheme is very nostalgic and it wears its patina well. It has accumulated chips, dents, dings, scuffs, scrapes, surface rust, some rust-thru in the bed area, and other imperfections accumulated over years of use as a truck (Please refer to the photos).
The truck appears to have solid bones. The only rust-thru I can see is at the very front of the bed floor where moisture tends to accumulate. The underside of the truck appears to be very solid (see photos).
The truck has drop I-beams on the front and has a power / front disc brake conversion.
The interior is in overall presentable condition with some wear and tear reflecting its age and use.
The truck is recently out of long-term storage. It didn't take much to get it started - new battery, fresh gas, and a needle and seat for the carb. The fuel pump looks like it has seen little use. The truck runs and drives so it will be easier to load on a trailer for transport. The truck currently does not have an air cleaner (the original air cleaner went missing while the truck was in storage). The clutch chatters a bit when releasing and the throw-out bearing is making some noise.
This is a great looking old truck that you can drive and enjoy as you continue to improve it. Please remember it is a 57 year old classic truck so you should be prepared to repair and maintain it as necessary.
