This 1965 Ford F100 Styleside Pickup underwent extensive mechanical refurbishment in 2005 to make the half-ton, rear-wheel-drive truck roadworthy after it had been parked for 20 years. This third owner vehicle had the original engine rebuilt, and its clutch replaced in 2005. Front coil and rear leaf springs were replaced in 2005 as was the windshield, alternator. The fuel pump was replaced in 2018. The 240-cu.in. straight six engine has approximately 40,000 miles since it was rebuilt. The 1barrel carburetor was replaced in 2014 and the original was rebuilt and is in a box that will go with the truck. The engine idles good and the column-shifted three-speed manual transmission shifts fine. The truck runs and drives well. The original oil bath filter, spare carburetor miscellaneous parts and old service manuals will also be included. The truck was last painted in 2005. It has surface rust above the driver's door, some on the roof seam and bed seam which will need to be treated and the truck repainted. The cargo bed has a sprayed-in liner. All lighting is described as functional. The blue cloth and vinyl bench seat will need to be reupholstered. The cab floor is protected by carpet. The the cab headliner will need to be replaced. The instrumentation is said to work, and a tachometer has reportedly been added. The steering wheel is original and will need the parts for the horn contact replaced. There is no air conditioning or audio system. The heater works, and the heater core was replaced when the engine was rebuilt. New front and rear springs, plus new shock absorbers, were installed in 2005. The truck has drum brakes in front and rear. New brake cylinders, and master cylinder were replaced in 2017.
