1965 Mustang Coupe with correct 289 engine, carb, 3 speed transmission, rear end

I purchased this 1965 Ford Mustang Coupe earlier this year to make a Restomod, but once I found out more about it, I just couldn't alter it. It needed a valve job and some minor mechanical work. As I started to work on it, my shop said the car is very original. It has been painted and interior redone at some time prior, but the original floors and structure are all there and solid as a rock. Makes sense since it is an Arizona/California car. The door tag is original and indicates the exterior color, Dynasty Green (a 5 to 10 footer paint job) and black standard interior are how the car was originally built. Everything works including the original R12 air conditioner. Other options are power steering, power drum brakes, heater, and AM radio. License plates do not go with the car.
I had a valve job done and installed new lifters while the motor was open. The power steering ram and hoses were also replaced along with an aluminum radiator, hoses and new fan clutch. A new standard engine clutch was installed while waiting for the valve job to be completed and a Scott Drake muffler.
This car is a very straight and solid driver. The automatic choke works well and the car starts and runs great. The trans shifts as it should with no noises. The rear end has a slight gear wear howl at 30 mph but makes no bearing noises. All the glass is good with only minor scratches and no cracks.Clean clear title in my name..It's up to the new owner to determine where they want to go with it from here.
