1976 ford f-100, 360-v8, automatic, short bed, Bahama Blue.

1976 Ford F-100. A very original truck. Purchased from the son of the original owner. As far as I can tell, the only things replaced on it are a radiator hose, solenoid, battery, tires, steering sector bushing, fuel pump and a couple fuel hoses. Even all the original hose clamps are there. Factory chalk markings are on the firewall. There is surface rust and patina throughout. All original glass is in tact. Only one dent in the entire bed that I can find. The original owner hit something on the passenger side, at which point the truck was given to his son. The son, Joe bought a new chrome grill, side trim and a taillight from Ford to start the restoration in 1990, but he never did it. I purchased the truck and got it starting, running and driving, shifting and stopping.The bad. There is one perforation on the passenger side front of the bed area about the size of my thumb. The differential pinion seal has a slow leak. Carburetor needs a rebuild. It starts right up and I have driven it arounf town and on the expressway, but it running rich I believe. Draw-tite hitch and the new parts shown as well as the original parts I replaced come with the truck. It is a great start for a restoration. I have the Georgia Title in hand as well as a digital copy of the previous title when it was transferred to the original owner’s son.
