Description of 1929 Ford Model A special coupe |
This 1929 Ford Model A is a beautiful, restored vehicle that will make a great addition to your collection. The owner has had it for 3 years and it has been well-maintained. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for weekend drives. The color is a lovely green and the mileage is 1450. This classic car is sure to turn heads and make a statement. Don't miss out on the opportunity to own this piece of automotive history. Vehicle Details The Special coupe differed from the other Model A coupes by having the vinyl top run down to the rear deck as well as a few more gingerbread options, this makes this car a little more rare and originally cost around $50 more. This car was restored about 10yrs ago to become a nice driver, it's not an award wining show car but starts, runs, drives, and stops like a Model A should. The car is all original except the seats and a few upgraded items to make it more dependable. Tires are almost new, Headlights and tail lights are upgraded to LEDs, Swapped points for electronic ignition module, Brakes and E-brake are good but could use some adjustment in the future. Everything on the car works as it should, Horn and lights have ad-on controls, (Not original), has manifold heater and blower from 35 ford, which really helps in cold weather. Has nice rumble seat and oil pressure gauge. This car has an upgraded Ford replacement engine which were sold up until the early 1960s as there were an abundance of these engines left over from the war effort. This coupe is all Henry steel and very little bondo, was never any serious rust. It's been in several car shows, parades, and trips up to 100 mi. Please message me for more info or pics. Only selling because I found another style more to my liking and have to many to tractors and cars to keep in. Vehicle will be sold with a reserve $ and $500 down at time of winning the bid, Balance at time of P/U. Thanks for looking at this piece of American History! |
