My mom purchased this car in the early 60's. We moved around the country and eventually landed in FL in the 70's, and there was an amateur restoration completed in the mid 1990s. I inherited the car several years ago, and hoped to resto mod it to make my retirement vintage rod. My health forces the sale. The Engine will run with fresh fuel and attention, and is complete. The Clutch throwout bearing is in need of replacement the last time the car ran with intermittent squealing. The original transmission shifts and rolls fine. the diff is the same. Due to the length of time she has been resting, I would say the brakes need comprehensive inspection. I had a entirely bolt on front disk conversion completed since I used it in local parades and shows for a while. The body and frame are solid, with any rusted sheet metal replaced in the 90's. solid floors, solid trunk, and the suspension is serviceable. I would probably replace the springs and shock if I was to try to operate the car in the current shape. The paint is intact but shows the amateur restoration.I am motivated, but do not plan on giving it away. IF i cant hit a decent price, I will leave it to my family or donate it to the Cancer society. Please feel free to ask any questions, I know these are poor pics, and if am capable I will air the tires and roll it into the sun to do better. The car is in north Florida about 30 minutes away from I-10 & I 75. this location should get reasonable estimates of transportation costs.
