Description of 1937 Ford Other |
What we have here is the coolest scooter out there. Take it to swap meets or events with its own all aluminum trailer. When this car is on the trailer. my 5 year old grandson can lift the tongue to put it on my hitch!!It started as a Pride Mobility Scooter that retails for $2435. 00Then the car was built around the scooter. My friend had this built. and I am selling it for the family. I don't know where he got the body. but it appears the "Woody" section was hand-built. The seat is adjustable as is the steering column. It has forward and reverse. The speed is varied by using the reo-stat on the steering column. The work was very well done and it has about 5 hours on it. I only know that by what I was told by friends and family and by the condition. there is not a meter. It has a couple of minor scuffs. Although it isn't a wheelchair. it is excellent for those with limited mobility. I couldn't find an outlet to give you an idea of the retail value of the body. but my best guess would be somewhere in the $1000-$1500 range. I bet you will be the only one that has one in your neck of the woods. The trailer retails for $1500. It did get a dent in one fender. but has barely been used. I have towed it. and it tows well and has L. E. D. lights. Nubs were still evident on the tread before I towed it to my house. Total retail value approximately $6500. actual value--priceless!! |
