Description of 1973 Ford F100 Ranger |
|
1974 F100 Ranger LWB Ford FE 360 with C6 127k Original Miles Washington title in hand. Family owned until I bought it as second owner. All original metal and paint but I’m pretty sure the tailgate was replaced. Starts right up and holds an idle. Transmission shifts smoothly. Stock manifolds with in-line cherry bombs. It’s got a nice rumble, but it’s not obnoxious. I spent a couple months fixing this truck up now I’m ready for my next project. I performed and have receipts for the following: • Complete Felpro engine re-gasket • New fuel pump, starter, alternator, water pump, thermostat, oil and temp sending units. • Full synthetic oil and Wix Filter • All new hoses and belts • All fluids replaced • Edelbrock carburetor rebuilt and new air cleaner • Radiator upgrade to OEM four core brass • Complete brake service, including new master cylinder, new shoes, pistons, hardware, soft and hard lines replaced and fresh fluid. • Gas tank overhaul with new sending unit and lines from tank to carb. • Transmission flush with new fluid and filter. • New windshield gasket installed • Replacement of all exhaust hangers • Rear differential drain and fluid replaced • Seat and steering column replaced • All zirc fittings greased • Cut and buffed paint to bring out original luster It’s a nice and original survivor in stock condition. The bed is weathered with very slight pitting The only rust to speak of is on driver’s floorboard. The floor is still very solid and you wouldn’t notice it, but if you look underneath the bottom layer is compromised. Drive it as is or an easy fix. It has a nice patina on the cab roof and hood. It’s in good condition for its age. It has a few scratches as one would expect from a 50 year-old truck, but it presents well and is fun to drive. It has the stock 15 inch steel wheels. I have 1964 hubcaps on it because I love the look of the old UFO ones. I will be including a set of year appropriate caps in good condition. I also replaced the seat, but I believe it came out out of a bumpside truck so it sits a little higher than the stock one. I will include the stock one that is structurally sound, but needs recovering. I’m located in Olympia. May be willing to ship if you cover costs and deal with logistics. I would prefer to sell to a local cash buyer. Vehicle Details 1974 F100 Ranger LWB Ford FE 360 with C6 127k Original Miles Washington title in hand. Family owned until I bought it as second owner.
