Details Exterior: 1931 Ford Model A hot rod built from an original all steel Model A Sport Coupe. Always garaged in climate controlled environment since completion. Paint is Torch Red base coat/ clear coat showing lots of depth and is flawless. Paint is accentuated with pearl ghost flames on front fenders and with orange lettering on the dash and orange pin stripping on the body and fenders. Rumble seat lid is adorned with an air brushed mural of the car in front of a period 50’s diner. Bright metal work consists of nicely chromed Model A type bumpers along with polished stainless radiator shell and grill guard. All new glass installed with the windshield and wind wings tinted. The car sits on B. F. Goodrich Radial T/A tires mounted on American Racing Torque Trust II 15” X 8” wheels on the front and 15” x 10” on the back. Chassis/ Drive Train/ Power Plant:The body is mounted on a TCI boxed frame with a TCI 4” dropped tubular front axle and with a 8” Ford 3. 50 ratio single track rear end narrowed 1” per side. All front end suspension components are triple chrome plated. The power plant consists of a professionally built 500 hp+ Chevy 383 stroker motor with aluminum trick flow angle plug heads. tunnel ram with two 4 bbl carbs. MSD ignition. competition cam and ceramic coated headers connected to 2 1/2” aluminized exhaust pipes with glass pack mufflers. All engine exterior components are chrome plated. Cooling is provided by a Walker radiator with Quad electric fan. The engine is mated to a professionally rebuilt GM 700 R4 overdrive transmission embellished with a chrome pan. Interior: All the upholstery was professionally custom made and professionally installed consisting of soft white vinyl with black piping. Front seat backs are accentuated with orange embroidered flames. Sound entertainment consists of Pioneer AM/FM CD player system mounted in a mahogany upper console with quad Pioneer speakers- two in the front and two behind the seat. The dash has Dolphin gauges mounted in mahogany which is complimented by a mahogany Banjo steering wheel mounted on a GM tilt steering column as well as a mahogany lower console with cup holders. For electrical supply a 21 circuit Painless wiring harness was used for powering engine. dash. accessories and windows.
