Description of 1969 Ford Mustang Base coupe

This is a 1969 mustang coupe. This car was bought 2 years ago for my son to go to school. needs newer car to go away to college. our loss your gain. This car has a ford 351 Windsor and it is an automatic. The transmission was new when it was bought. The interior in this car is a 8/10 for a car this age. Headliner and seats are all good. It has a grant steering wheel. The interior is good as i said earlier. an 8/10. It could just use some minor touch ups if you wanted. but in real good shape for age of car. The engine is a strong runner. It smokes a little when started. but after that it is fine. It runs strong with no knocks. The exterior of this car is a 7/10. This car does have some rust at the back of the doors and on the edge of the truck right below the mustang letters but that is all. There is no rust in the wheel wells at all. The paint is chipped in some spots. minor. its been a daily driver for two years. The outside has had ford racing hood pins installed at a body shop along with the fin that came on some mustangs at the time. and it is the correct fin for this generation of mustang. It is sitting on Bf Goodrich tires with torque thrust rims that look very well on this car. They are staggered and makes this car look a little meaner. Some other things that were done to this car are: New alternator. new thermostat (160 degree). new starter. This car has had a whole new sound system installed with a removable head unit in the last year. Also in the last year it has had long tube headers and a full magnaflow exhaust from the headers back. This exhaust has a magnaflow x-pipe with mufflers it was installed at an exhaust shop and they did a very nice job on it. This car has been babied ever since we had it. rarely driven in rain and always covered under a car cover.
