Description of 1931 Ford Model A |
Selling my chopped and mildly channeled 1931 Ford Model A Coupe hot rod. The car is all Henry Ford steel except the visor but I’ll include a very nice original steel visor. I believe the 1932 grill shell is aftermarket steel? The frame is boxed tube and 31 rails from the firewall forward. The head lights are original Guide with the turn signal lights in the upper lens. The motor is a freshly rebuilt 350 Chevy with new heads with hardened seats. Polished stainless exhaust manifolds from Speedway Motors. The exhaust is routed to the rear but has dump cut outs with gas caps. The 6 carbs are Holley 94’s. Vintage cast aluminum oil pan and vintage Ansen valve covers. The motor and Turbo 350 trans have about 500 miles on them since the rebuild. Lokar shifter. The rear is 8” Ford. The tires are Firestone. All new wiring throughout. working turn signals. horn. brake & head lights. dome light. heater w/control. vacuum wiper and vacuum cooling fan on steering column for the driver. The windshield opens. Vintage iPod ready am/fm radio. Tachometer and vintage jeweled map light. Upholstered seat. door panels and headliner only. Drilled and chromed dropped front axle with drilled and sleeved wishbones. Rear suspension is adjustable coil overs with ladder bars. panhard and a SoCal cross member. Ford drum brakes on the rear and finned aluminum Buick drums on the front with Halibrand track brake backing plates. Al Bergler made the louvered tail panel under the trunk section. I’ve owned this car for around 8 years and it’s a hassle free fun car to drive anywhere. Clear Michigan 1931 Ford title. Cash payment. pick up only. Happy to answer questions. Thanks. |
