Description of 1963 Ford Falcon |
RARE FACTORY 4 SPD FALCON FUTURA CONVERTIBLEThis car belongs to my mother and been been in her garage for years. She has decided to let someone else take it to the next level or just drive as is and enjoy. She has done things over the past few years such having the seats recovered. front and rear. new carpet installed. and a new top boot made. It has a power top. 170 6 cylinder and 4 speed transmission. The car has been painted for a long time and still looks good. Some of the chrome trim is driver quality. It runs and drives but has been sitting for a few years so it could use some driving and maybe a tune up. The brakes are up and working. Tires are fine. The clutch feels good and it shifts well. The power top works great. It will need a new top. It has been painted awhile so what little bit of rust is showing is not much. There are some bubbles above the rear rocker area on both sides and a small amount above the passenger side wheel well. I have tried to show in pictures but it doesn't show up well. The floors show to have been patched well before she got it and looked good when the carpet was put in. There are odds and ends that go with the car as well as some new parts such as a new windshield rubber because there is a chip in the windshield on the passenger side. All side glass is good. It has not been outside or in the rain in a long time. Mom always kept it garaged. It is a great little car with a lot to offer for the price range that it is listed for. especially being a 4 spd car. You are welcome to see the car in person or have someone look for you PRIOR to bidding as your opinion could vary. It is being sold "AS IS". I do not have any pictures of the underside. as I have no way of taking any but I did look underneath and did not see any rust issues at all. Good luck and thanks for looking. |
