1956 Ford Thunderbird Car Up for bid is a beautiful Stock 1956 Ford Thunderbird "Hard Top Convertible". Two door. two seater. This car was restored in 1984. and has been immaculately well cared for. Never driven or left out in the rain. Car has about 27. 00 miles since the restoration. This car is 100% complete with everything working and is leak free. Has a clear Louisiana Title. This car can either be a true convertible or a true hardtop. Those of you familiar with the Thunderbirds already know the hardtop is removable. COSMETICALLY: The exterior is Colonial white and the interior is teal and white. The body and paint is in excellent shape. Car has never been in a wreck and there is No Bondo anywhere on the car. The paint job is immaculate. Has no dents or scratches. The interior is in great shape (see pictures). No holes or tears in the seat. MECHANICALLY: The car is very mechanically sound. Both the motor and transmission were rebuilt during the restoration. It runs and drives great. Car cruises well at interstate speeds. This car has: -12 volt system (stock) -The 312 V-8 engine -4 barrel Holley Carburetor -Automatic Transmission -Power Steering -Power Brakes - AC added made to fit (134A refrigerant) blows cold -lap seat belts (not stock but added for safety) -new tires -Full size spare -Original AM radio in working order -Within the last several years all of the rubber and gaskets around the hardtop was replaced.
