Description of 1927 Ford Model T

1927 Ford Model T Roadster (Zipper)Professionally built 1927 Lakester Zipper Street Rod. I am 2nd owner. Built in the style of the late forties. early fifties dirt track racers. Approximately 8300 miles since built! BODY: Fiberglass body & dash with two operating doors and bear claws. Zipper model A nose & hood with Dan Fink hinge kit. 1947 Curtis midget hood straps. Roll bars are polished stainless steel and the tank is spun aluminum with moon eyes spinner cap. Blisters are from So-Cal. Flames are done by Ron Brent. Gauges are all Stewart Warner winged with engine tuned dash insert. Stainless steel steering column and Lobeck leather wheel (removable) and Locar shifter. FRAME: Main Street rod curved rails. Boxed. Front end. Super Bell I beam axle -drilled chrome- 46"KP centers. 2 1/4 perch boss with 29" chrome mono leaf springs. Early Ford chrome spindles/ SS king pins & tie rods as well as SS ball joint and Pitman arm. Pete & Jake chrome shocks. Radius Rods and a Vegas steering box with SS steering joints and shaft. Brakes are Super Stopper front Disc Brake kit - polished calipers. 1" vented rotors highlight polished finned backing plates. Aluminum hub and stainless steel braided flex lines all around. Wilwood dual master cylinders. 8" Ford rear with drum brakes. has been smoothed with chrome radius rods. Pete & Jakes SS rear Panard rod with Carrera coil over shocks. 130# chrome springs. polished aluminum mounts and faux quick change cover. MOTOR: 305 small block with mild cam. Edelbrock Carb 1403. Street Dominator intake. Speedway motors hugger coated headers (shows some slight pitting). Finned. polished aluminum water pump and pulleys. Billet Specialist powder coated air cleaner. MDS Billet Distributer. Finned aluminum valve covers. Griffin aluminum radiator and Spalding electric fan with manual switch. Motor has been rebuilt. Trans is a 350 turbo B&M shift kit and recent rebuild. INTERIOR: All leather seats. back & door panelsWHEELS: American Salt Flat polished outer rims with cast centers. Front 15x4" tires are 165/R15. Rears are 17x7" P265/65R17. Polished front & rear knock off spinners. Car sold as is. No warranty expressed or implied. Also for sale locally so I reserve the right to cancel auction at any time.
