Description of 1988 Ford Thunderbird |
PLEASE READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION!!Up for sale is my 1988 Turbo Coupe with 87. xx miles. This car was purchased from the original owner about 3 years ago with 74K. I've owned many Turbo Coupes and this. no question. is the nicest TC I've owned or even seen in person. Car runs good and is in excellent condition!! The car still has most everything original on it. The car has the very rare and sought after ground effects with spoiler. I don't want to sell the car one bit but I'm expanding my business and this is one of the cars I'm going to sacrifice. The car has a front mount intercooler on it &20 inch boyd coddington wheels with brand new tires with under 500 miles on them. Other than that is is completely stock. It will come with the original wheels and tires that are in like new condition. I have 2 other 2. 3l turbo cars. I bought a mustang last summer to drive as a daily but have had an issue and don't have time to fix it. It is a 1992 Vert with a 5 speed and the 3. 55 rear disc brake set up. 2 days after I purchased it I blew the turbo. I 'thought' I blew a head gasket so I pulled the head and sent it off to get checked and rebuilt. I put it back together and realized what my problem wasn't the head gasket rather the turbo so I put a new turbo that I had planned on using for the white tbird. less than 500 miles later I blew the head gasket. I wasn't even getting on it hard and I popped it. I'm pretty certain I torqued the head down wrong using a harbor freight torque wrench. It currently has a garret t3/t4 type-TO4E A/R. 50 The Mustang still needs the head gasket replaced. The body and top are in great condition and the interior is in good condition but needs a good shampoo. I also have another 88 TC that I bought down in Mississippi. I bought this car because it had the front mount intercooler and the pimp ecu system. I pulled the front mount off and put it on the white tbird. The original plan was to use the turbo off the mustang. the ecu from the tbird and the built head that I have and install it all on the white car. I'm willing to take parts off the mustang or the blue tbird to install it on the white car if you want to work something out. I'm willing to make a package deal on everything or sell it all individually. If the price goes over $10. 00 I will include either the mustang or the blue tbird at no extra cost. |
