I am listing this vehicle for a friend who built the car but due to health reasons is no longer able to drive. Up for your consideration is a nostalgia built 1928 Ford two door sedan that is ready to cruise and take to the show or cruise night functions in style. The body is a nice. rust free. all steel 28 Ford Model A tudor that has been chopped 2 1/2 inches and stamped with numerous louvers on the steel hood and rear tail. The paint is an enamel that has been toned down with flattening agent to achieve that hotrod look. All of the glass is new and free of cracks and rolls up/down freely. The top and floor have been covered with stained and varnished mahogany and it looks amazing. The bucket seats are from a Fiero and have been covered in black roll and pleat as have the front door panels. The chassis is an original 32 Ford that has been boxed and is fitted with a Superbell dropped tube axle and disc brakes on the front and a Chevrolet rearend mounted on Quarter elliptical springs in the rear with drum brakes. The steering column and wheel are 1940 Ford items. The drive train consists of a 1952 Merc. flathead V8 that has been rebuilt . 030 over with a 3/4 cam. electric fuel pump. milled heads. Navarro intake & 2bbl carb and Fenton headers. The engine is followed by a rebuilt 1948 Ford truck transmission. The engine is cooled by an aluminum radiator and Cooling Components fan. The ignition is a Pertronics unit. The lighting consists of Dietz units up front and 1939 Ford units in the rear. All lighting. electrical components andrectional signals work fine. A new wiper unit is not installed but goes with the car. The wheels are steelies with 165-15 in front and 215-16 in the rear.
