Description of 1970 Ford Mustang

Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this beautifully restored R-Code 1970 Ford Mustang Mach 1 4-speed manual. It's a stunning example in yellow over black interior finished to a concours standard throughout. Paint quality is exceptional; all panels are straight with good gaps and bumpers. chrome. grille. trim. glass and rubbers are either new or restored to like-new condition. Nicely detailed undercarriage and engine compartment. Interior shows as new with all correct materials and all gauges. lights. indicators and switches working properly. A highly accurate. no-expense-spared restoration was completed around eight years ago. Our client purchased the car at the Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach 2007 auction; it has been lovingly cared for and stored in a climate-controlled garage since -- and has been driven fewer than 1. 00 miles (mostly to shows and very limited touring). The car is correct to the Marti Report (see link for PDF). with two minor (but tastefully appropriate) deviations from stock. The rear end has been upgraded from a conventional axle to a limited slip and the tires have been upgraded from 14-inch to 15-inch on Ford rally wheels. Of course what makes this car truly special (and quite rare) is the factory R-Code engine option: a 428 Cobra Jet under a shaker hood with ram air induction. mated to a four-speed manual transmission.
