Description of 1928 Ford Model A 40-A Roadster with Rumble Seat |
Unmolested AR Roadster with the only nod to this century being a 6V alternator to facilitate daily driving (the original 6V "powerhouse" generator is included). A very subdued 1970's restoration with no fiberglass. A rock-solid reliable fun driver. LeBaron Bonney top and side curtains in excellent shape. AR features include the big red wheel (no repop); P-Brake on left; no ext door handles; original drums; fluted headlight lenses; functional original pop-out; 2-piece spark plugs; 2-position light switch; Houdaille cylindrical hydraulic shocks in the front; "AR" radiator fan shroud. Dual sidemounts and six new/newer Goodyear 21" tires tubes and bands 6V battery. Thoroughly maintained and driven regularly. Interior is excellent. Many spare and collectible parts.
