Description of 1971 Ford F-250 Camper Special

Ford F series trucks have been an American favorite since 1948 and you’ll be hard pressed to find a nicer un-molested un-restored ’71 F-250. I purchased this truck from a local fellow who has had it since at least 1994 and he supplied me with an envelope stuffed with service records. This truck received a new long block 390 motor in 1997 and has only been driven 2172 miles since then. It got a new water pump master cylinder distributor coil carb rebuild belts hoses shock absorbers P/S pressure hose and the C-6 trans was serviced. The truck runs and drives flawlessly. I drove it home to my shop noticing some brake noise. I replaced the front calipers brake pads and a rotor. The other rotor was turned. The truck now performs perfectly and the glass pack mufflers really sound cool. The original seat cover had a couple of tears so I had it recovered with the original type material in the original color. A new dash cap and now the interior is sweet! The original vinyl floor mat is in perfect shape and the door sill plates look great too.

Now the exterior. The original paint has a great patina reflecting years of not very hard use. There is not a dent in the body larger than a quarter. The bed and inner fenders are nice nice. There is zero rust and the bumpers are straight (a little chrome gone on the front one). The glass is all good all the trim is there and it’s almost flawless. The lights all burn bright and everything works. The pics were taken at my neighbor’s stables because my property is covered with old trucks cars boats and motorcycles. Thanks Bill and Sabine.
