Description of 1992 Ford Festiva GL |
1992 Ford Festiva GLAqua BlueAutomaticOnly 108k MilesRust FreeThis car is is very nice compared to most other Festivas still out there on the road. I bought it initially planning to redo it for a daily driver. Refinished and painted all of the rear interior plastics. Also began recovering the door panels and headliner with a matching vinyl. All the extra vinyl will come with the car. The headliner will need re-glued as it was not done with enough adhesive the first time.Seats have been replaces with Ford Aspire seats and have leather seat covers on them. I do have the rear seat but it is not in the car during the pictures.I have replaced the radio with a brand new Pioneer Bluetooth Radio. Purchased it from Best buy installed it insured it worked and that is all so far.AC was cooling really well when I bought it but now is not cooling. Previous owner said their was a leak and that does seem to be the issue. The brakes will need some work. They do work but feel extra soft. Will need some new tires. The transmission shifts find after driving for a short period of time. At first it takes a second to go into reverse for some reason. It does shift from first to second a little hard but have been told this is completely normal for these cars. This will be a great car for someone out there and would love to see someone finish up redoing it. |
