The '39 was the regarded as having the best lines for a convertible durning the 1935 - 1940 era. The car is a was equipped with a folding top that stores behind the seat making a clean smooth appearance. The after market parts are of the highest quality or are orginial Ford parts some of these parts are NOS..The body sits on a aftermarket frame form Fatman Faberication. The frame is of the highest standard and is equipped with a Mustang front end using stainless steel upper and lower control arms with coil springs and power rack & pinion steering unit. The rear is a leaf spring configuration with a 8" Ford rear end. The frame has the prower brake unit installed with the pedal. This frame is the very best for a convertible due to its strength. All of the frame specification are available from the Fatman's web site.The body is a fiberglass unit from Wescott Auto Restyling. It is equipped with a folding top that has been chop 2" and has all of the supports and bows required to except the covering. The top 2" chop is a option item at the time of purchase. The doors are equipped with the orginial styled hinges power windows with the glass and window controls are installed the doors can be opened using a exterior handle or a power opener can be installed. The interior garnish mouldings are provided for the windshield and the doors and the trunk lid is installed with the latch. The transmision tunnel floor is included.
