Up For Sale is this converted 1985 Ford 8000 Chassis with a Pierce Fire truck body (built in Bradenton and served the Brandon Fire Dept.). This chassis is equipped with the coveted 3208 Caterpillar diesel mated to a automatic 4 speed Allison transmission. This is the NON turbo version but a turbo CAN be added. This engine was just inspected during the $3000 rebuild of the Fuel Injector pump and was stated to be in superb running condition at just 74285 miles. The air compressor is strong and quiet and easily fills the entire system. As for the 100% rust free Florida chassis this truck was equipped with a 1000 gallon water tank that has been removed but shows that this vehicle can piggy back at least 15000 pounds. The truck is equipped with a tow package and still has the complete Waterhaus pump system including the control panels. As for the body itself this vehicle was converted to a very successful food truck and served at many fairs and functions until water damage took its toll and the concession part was removed. The trailer base is still on the truck and a new stand could be built if so desired. This truck has a ton of life left in it and can serve someone for many years I personally would like to see this rebuilt into a concession vehicle once again and be the most unique vendor at the fairs.
