Description of 1991 Ford E-Series Van Extra High Roof & High Doors |
I'm selling a 1991 FORD ECONOLINE VAN SUPER E350 with an extended chassis and fiberglass roof extension. It would make an awesome work van cargo van camper toy hauler and/or wheelchair access vehicle. The extra-high fiberglass roof provides an amazing 6'4" of standing room. Plus all 3 doors on the passenger side have raised openings for super-easy access. No crouching to fit through the doors! The bed is an enormous 11.5 feet from the seat backs to the rear doors. This van has so much space you could literally have a party in the back! With 110098 miles it runs great and is very reliable. It has a powerful 460 V8 engine and an E40d automatic overdrive transmission. The transmission was replaced NEW at a Ford dealership less than 2000 miles ago. I am the second owner. This van was bought new in Southern California and it has never left the area. It was previously owned by a church in Highland which used it as a shuttle. It has a clean title current registration and current smog certificate. This van has COLD air conditioning cruise control and a nice Kenwood stereo. It also has a rear air conditioner which works great but is currently disconnected because there is a leak in the line going back to it which I have not had time to trace. The water pump battery regulator and air conditioning components were recently replaced. The tires are good. This van has never been in an accident. The paint is all original and it still has a nice shine. The body is remarkably straight and ding-free except for 2 dents: one at the left rear corner and one behind the left rear wheel. There are a few small areas of superficial surface rust here and there but nothing structural and nothing that a little sandpaper couldn't fix. The front seats are Flexsteel captains chairs that recline and swivel. It has a comfortable bench seat in the middle from a Volkswagen Vanagon. The rear seat pops right out if you don't need it. The rest of the interior is gutted and ready for you to build to your own purpose. It has a dual-battery setup to provide power to the rear. I recently paid $330 for a 160 Amp High Output Alternator but haven't gotten around to installing it. It's still new in the box with instructions and harness and I will include it with the van.
