Description of 1968 Ford Galaxie

1968 Ford Galaxie 500. Original black/gold plated California car. Extensive modifications/upgrades including but not limited to the following: 302 ci V8 bored .080 over with Ford Racing heads Lunati roller rockers forged internals andcustom headers and dual exhaust. Customhandbuilt radiator/cooling system. Curriecustom suspension with 4 wheel slotted disc brakes front and rearand a 9" chrome rear axle/diff assembly and QA1 shocks. American Racing Wheels with excellent matching tires (rears larger and offset). Redoneresto-custom interior with excellent seats/headlinercustom center console with power locks windows and vent wings. All Alpine stereo including custom trunk enclosure with 3 12" type R subwoofers and 2 1000 watt amps. Clifford alarm system. Excellent chrome front bumper and trim. Rear bumper chrome bubbling. Some minor missing trim and spots of cosmetic rust. This is and always has been a Southern California car and has solid and rust free floors trunk and chassis and body (other than the usual Galaxie trouble spots pictured). Selling because I'm restoring a wooden sailboat and don't have the time to give the Galaxie the care she deserves. A very unique reliable comfortable Fast Ford.
