Description of 1969 Ford Mustang FASTBACK |
This is a real deal 600 Limited Edition factory V8 Groovy Green Fastback the best I can tell it is 1 out of 10 produced. I never got the Marti report but the door tag fender tag and the vin say it all. I replaced the quarters rear body door skins hood fendersfront valance with Dynacorn parts that were available. Car has a 351 cleveland engine that is not correct to the car but runs drives shifts as it should. At some point in time someone was making a mach1 clone with the motor and interior. I dont drive the car much at all but I take to small car shows and local drives on a nice day. I did not do a concours restoration on this car but it is very straight with a smooth deep gloss finish. Car was painted with PPG base clear finish. I replaced the aprons and rad support but I left the floors the way I bought the car. They have some patches and could use a little more work but nothing that bothered me enough to fix. I plan on putting the car on a lift to get pics. Alot of the trim glass and interior is original so it shows wear but still fits nicer than aftermarket stuff . The best way to determine the condition is to see it in person. Its at my shop and can be seen any time. The guy who put these cars back on the map has a website that's a good place to start with any research or questions about these cars. His is the red car in the pic with mine. limited600mustang.net |
