Description of 1972 Ford Mustang Mach 1 |
Up for Auction is my 1972 Mustang Mach 1 with original 351C 2-BL engine with original 'functioning' ram air hood and original FMX automatic transmission. I have owned the car since 1981. The engine and heads were completely rebuilt in 1991 at 162000 miles and upgraded with an Edelbrock 4-BL manifold plus Holley 600-CFM carb. The engine is turn key start and strong running. Car is and has been registered/inspected every year since 1981 never seen a winter and garage stored. There is approximately 15000-16000 miles on rebuilt engine and heads. The chassis suspension and brake parts were also changed at that same time period. Some engine and transmission leaks due to age of vehicle and sitting along with dings scratches and worn paint. Dash pad has cracks door panels have some cracks driver's seat has a tear does not have spare tire or jack. Vehicle has A/T P/S 4 wheel M/B drum A/C (does not work) tilt wheel rim blow horn all gauges and lights are operational. Frame and floor boards are solid/no holes and all original. Both rear quarter panels have a few holes. Ram-Air hood has minor dent. Doors and fenders are solid. All additional parts not pictured come with purchase: left & right full face aftermarket quarter skins complete OE Ford Mustang Mach 1 stripe kit front spoiler front left & right chrome fender extensions new door panel wood-grain stickers nice/used better condition front bumper and also comes with original Ford 2-BL carb and manifold.Buy as is buyer responsible for pick-up or delivery -- can even drive it away.
