Up for your consideration is my 1948 Ford F1.If you buy it you will have it for Back 2 The 50's weekend this month at the fair grounds in St Paul MN. The only reason I put it up for sale is that I purchases another vehicle and have a few to many as it is. I just had this out for a 100 mile or so drive this weekend and it draws attention wherever you go. It is titled as a 1948 based on the cab and the rest of the vehicle metal parts are1946. The top is chopped 3 inches and the rear fenders are wider then stock by 3 inches. Ford 351Wmotor 4-barrrel holly and an aluminum intake with an automatic transmission Ford 9" rear-end with unknown gears. The front has had a 1991 Dodge Dakota front stub grafted onwith power disc brakesfor a more up to date suspension. All the lights work gauges blinkers etc. It is a great looking truck that just needs finishing touchesto be complete to your desire. It runs drives brakes and looks great and I drive it the way it is. A few things it needs: One piece of windshield on the drivers side. It is cracked behind the mirror in two spots. I have been driving it the away it is since there is no obstructions. It broke over time due to the rear view mirror hitting it when adjusted. I have sealed it and it is good. Door seals I just haven't gotten around to ordering themNew interior seats or covers headliner side windows if you would like the regulators are still in the door.They don't bother me since I never drive it in the rain paint the frame any color but orange unless you like it that way. Paint the bed wood or replace it with better wood the rear tires are a little thin. You can drive this truck anywhere and do little things as you go I do. This is a no reserve auction for a great attention getting vehicle. The truck is sold as is where is with no warranty's applied. The truck is advertised locally and I have the right to end the auction early. If you have questions email with you phone number due to my busy work schedule and I will call you back. I work until the evening. There is a $1000.00 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit due within 24 hours of the end of the auction by PayPal with remaining balance due within 7 days. Truck must be picked up within 7 days of end of auction unless other arrangements are made. The vehicle will need to be picked up by June 24th since I will be gone for a week. If you can't pick it up by then I will be back July 3rd for pick-up. Arrangements must be made with me in advance.Buyer is responsible for all costs and arrangements for picking up vehicle.
