I am listing this for a friend so any questions might take a day to answer. He is selling his 1939 Ford standard 2 door sedan all steeldue to having to many cars and not enough time to drive them. It was built by him in 2007 using all the best parts. It was a frame off restoration done to a really nice body and frame that had no rot on it. The bottom of the body was painted with POR15 and the car was finishedin Viper Redpaint shows very nice. Frame was painted gloss black and all inner fenders brackets and braces were powder coated black.Original frame with TCI Mustang II front suspension with tubular control arms and power steering. Rear is a Ford 9" posi traction with leaf springs all rebuilt with 3.75 gears and new axles. A new "Tanks" fuel tank was installed with all new stainless gas lines and the pump in the tank. It has power brakes disc in front and drum rears on 15" rims. Engine isout of a 1989 Lincoln LSC 5.0 HO fuel injected with a reprogrammed computer Walker radiator and Flowmaster mufflers.Transmission is an AOD out of the same car. New chromed bumpers front and rear. Interior is done gray vinyl with all new Haneline gauges and wiring harness by EZ wire. It has an Am/FM/CD player with 4 speakers. It has a large Vintage Air heat and air unit that cools and heats the car very nicely. Car is road proven with approx. 17K miles and long trips one to Michigan and 2 to Tennessee under it belt with no problems. Car is very comfortable on these long trips.
