Description of 1931 Ford Model A |
1931 Ford Model A Town Sedan Runs and drives, nrestored, his automobile was recently pulled out of storage and is now running again, asically put a battery in, resh gas, leaned the points and carburetor and it started right up, reviously this car was driven as a daily driver. The car was just fixed up to be driven, his is not a show car. This is a great driver that you would not have to worry about leaving in a parking lot or taking the kids out for an ice cream. The paint on the car is dull, enders are in flat black, teel fenders are complete but can see where they have been fixed over the years (fenders body work could be better), lease see photo showing repair on passenger side rear fender. The drivers side running board could use some additional support- see photo showing repair. The seats have been recovered with army navy blankets and headliner is made from burlap, ee photos. From what I can see the wood is pretty solid, t appears there have been some repairs made on the sub frame where it meets the cowl- see photo. Doors all open and close okay. This car runs and drivers, echanical brakes stop ok considering its not a restored car, otor sounds good, urrently has an exhaust leak, teering has some play, nd have had not issues with the car overheating, lutch works great(no chatter or slipping), ransmission shifts good. Radiator appears to be new, owever at some point the fan must have hit it on, ins are damaged (does not leak and have had no issues with running hot or over heating). Speedometer, mp meter, nd gas gauge all work. Generator charges, ll lights work, hen stopped sometimes you have to pull up on the brake pedal so the brake lights don't stay on, irectional lights have been added for safety, as a motor meter, nd luggage rack. Please refer to photos and feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns. I have applied for a NH title for this car and should have it within the next couple of weeks, o being sold with a CLEAR NH TITLE. This can be seen in Rochester NH by appointment. |
