1955 GMC 100 Pickup; it appears this GMC 100 is from a short final run of the "Advanced Design" generation of trucks that lasted partway through 1955. These trucks are also known as first series. This GMC Pickup has undergone a cosmetic and mechanical restoration. During the restoration process a modern drivetrain consisting of a 350 cubic inch motor with Edelbrock carburetor and manifold was mated to a 700R4 automatic transmission and a 10 bolt rear end. This truck is finished in maroon and graphite metallic paint. The interior is mainly stock in appearance with the addition of a Lokar style shifter and chrome dash panel cluster. The bed of the truck has been beautifully finished with hardwood and polished hardware. This is a very good example of a pickup truck which has been built and upgraded with modern drivetrain but maintaining the original character of the truck.
