Description of 1971 GMC Sierra 1500 c-10

This is an awesome stepside shorty pickup truck. This is the style of bed everyone wants because they are much more classic looking than the straight sides! Rarer 1971 year also. This has low miles of just 99k, nd runs great. We drove it around before restoring it to make sure it runs good. Originally it was 3 on the tree, ut to increase it's cool factor we switched it over to a 3 speed on the floor with a new Hurst Indy shifter, eally nice and smooth. This is a clean truck from Georgi, t has a dept of defense sticker on the windshield and i left it because its just neat. The wind shield has some fogging along the bottom left due to the georgia heat, ut it really doesnt affect it's driving. I figure if you want it changed you could pick your windshield yourself and the warranty would then be with you. The seat is in NICE shape and the door panels are nice and painted because they are all steel. The floor is done in heavy duty bedliner so you can just spray it down. Easy low maintenance! I have added new carpet mats that you can take out too.
Paint is very nice, 'd rate it a 9 out of 10. Beautiful red shiny all over with pewter or gun metal color highlights and rims. no runs in the paint, nbsp;One of the things I like about this truck is the bed is made of diamond plate on the floor and is very heavy duty with the same heavy duty bedliner as on the floor. This makes this truck not only beautiful but useful! You can haul anything in this truck without worrying about scratching a wood floor! Girls like guys in trucks because they haul stuff !! The tailgate is brand new and this truck is rust free. The little bit of rust it had (like cab corners) was replaced with new steel replacement panels. AWESOME!
It has new tailgate, hrome door handles inside and out, ew light lens, ew dash pad and more. We painted the orange header cover and thermostat cover, nd this engine compartment is all nice original. We have also installed a new cigarette lighter and put a new mirror in the framework of the old mirror to keep it's original look. Tires are good, ims are original and painted to match the pewter color. Comes with the spare tire also. The only things left for you to customize is the steering wheel (has normal cracks), t works just fine of course and you don't need to change it. We added new indoor outdoor speaker boxes underneath the seats so that the doors are not cut up and water spash won't hurt them. We also purchased a new stereo with remote and usb. There's nothing this truck needs but to go have fun with it.

Because it will only go up in value, ou could drive it a few years in high school and sell it again to help pay for college! per several requests, have added photos of the underside as well. you should be able to see the new clean cab corners, ocker panels, nd a small steel piece 2x3 that repaired a very small hole. The rest of the underside is all original and has not been covered up so you can see the original colors and condition. nice in the wheel wheels and engine compartment is very nice too.
