Description of 1972 GMC Sierra 1500 Custom

Rare factory shortbed 4X4 in mostly original condition. It is a great restoration candidate and will need the normal rust repair in the rockers, loors, oors, ab corners and bed floor.Auromatic trannybut unsure of the condition. This truck had sat for a couple of years before I got it. Engine runs but carb needs rebuilding. If you know anything about 67-72 chevy/gmc trucks then you know how rare and desirable a short 4x4 is.It has base trim but a lot of nice options like automatic transmission, tainless west coast junior mirrors, ower bodyside molding, hrome front and rear bumpers, eavy front springs and medium blue paint all from the factory. It still has the original lock out hubs from the factory as well. There is a tag on the differential that states the gear ratio is 3.73. This would have been standard with the original 307 engine from the factory. This is an excellent opportunity to purchase an original factory shortbed 67-72 chevy/gmc pickup. I have the other two rally wheels as well. The sheet metal is very straight including bedsides and tail gate. No rust above windshield. Vin tag matches decals on door and glove box as well as the frame. This is a factory swb 4x4 not a 67-72 two wheel drive body that has been placed on a 73- up 4x4 frame as you so commonly see.
