Description of 1969 GMC Other 1500

1969 GM 1500 2wd 305/V6 Show Truck - head turner and for those GMC collectors. you know this is a rare find. 3 speed on column manual transmission. This is the last year for the V6/305 engine in the regular size truck. Let's start with the core of the information. the truck was owned by the father of the current owner and passed down. It has original motor and tranny which have been completely overhauled with new replacement parts (and really didn't need it). there was new metal and new panels installed when repainted original color in 2002. Bed is all original. but does have some dings. Truck starts easy. runs great and drives just like it did when it was 5 years old. Rear chrome bumper is new. interior is fresh and looks new - upholstered professionally done about 12 years ago also. Drum brakes on all 4 tires. Original rims/hubcaps will go with the truck. Tires are 90% good! Door handle chrome has a faint amount of heat crazing. not pitting. Leaf spring suspension supports a very smooth ride. The truck has never been wrecked. An entire photo album is available for viewing and the buyer will take home all receipts related to the restoration of this fine truck. 12 bolt rear end with 6 Lug Axles. leaf spring suspension with 5 leafs. 3. 73 gears. 15 x 10 Rally Wheels from a '79 K 10.
