Description of 1949 GMC Other

Hello, am selling my 1949 GMC pickup. This sat in a dry ware house for some 30-40 years. My friend bought it and put a new fuel pump, aster cylinder, rand new radial tires and and then sold it to me. It is a fun truck drive, just find I do not have the extra space or time to take it to shows etc. So I am offering it for sale. I must say this can sit weeks and it starts up and purrs. Really shows how well it was taken care of back in the day. This is a very original truck, t just drives fine as it is.Like a walk back in time. The body has some dent, ery minor rust. Some in front of the battery cover on floor edge corner, ome in front under bed boards at front edge. there may be other small spots of rust but truck is very clean for its age and was cared for. It looks like some very old lead work was done on body in spots to keep up on truck over the years. 3/4 of the truck was painted at some point. the rest is original paint. Doors still show a contractors lettering if you look real close. Most of it was buffed off years ago. The rest looks original. Just a great old truck that you can hop in and drive right now!

Just to let you know the truck did not come with turn signals. I bought a turn signal kit for this truck and never had time to install it but the kit is included.

I would be more than happy to show the truck to buyers and give you a ride before auction ends. I feel you will be impressed by how good a shape my truck is in and how good it rides and drives just as it is! Clutch, rakes 4 speed. 1st is a granny gear, ery easy to drive. You feel like it is 1949 again and check out that grille guard that still has a manufacture sticker from the company that made it.
