NO RUST. South Carolina truck since sold new. I bought the truck and made the modifications or repairs all within the last 6,100 miles. I put 4 new 33x12.5x15 General Grabber II tires on it. Wheels are 15" x 10" alloy rims. All the brake pads, shoes, rotors, nd brake hoses are new. I upgraded the wheel studs from 7/16 stock to 9/16 heavy duty wheel studs. Truck has new motor and transmission mounts. I added a rear sway bar for more stability when towing along with Rancho shocks on front and rear. Also added a large, eavy duty transmission fluid cooler in front of the radiator. Radiator was replaced at the time of purchase. Replaced stock clutch fan with dual electric fans that are wired with relays and set to turn on and off automatically with temperature or A/C operation. A/C is cold. All the fluids have been changed and bearings re-packed or replaced. Carpet, loormats and headliner are new. Dash is cracked and needs a cover or new pad. Power windows and rear window works fine. New seals and guides on window tracks and both front window motors have been replaced. New cable on rear window. Fresh paint job. Ice blue LED back lighting on dash gauges. Bluetooth CD player. Keyless entry door locks. Removable top. Transmission was rebuilt and new torque converter installed soon after I bought the truck. Shifts perfect. The weak stock engine has been replaced with a 1996 model Vortec 350 with a LT1 camshaft. Wieand street warrior intake manifold with Holley tbi adaptor. TBI unit has been rebuilt and cleaned. Custom chip programmed by TBI Chips Brian Harris. Has an upgraded fuel pump to work with his programming. Gets much better gas mileage than stock and has much more power than factory TBI engine. Has tubular exhaust headers with true dual exhaust with high flow stock type mufflers for a factory type sound level. Front suspension is tight. Has 1" leaf spring spacers on front. Rear spring shackles flipped to level ride.Steering stabilizer shock replaced. Truck runs good, rives good, nd looks great. Gets many compliments anywhere I drive it. People will stare and give thumbs up and want to talk about the truck wherever you go. And again, his K5 Jimmy has No Rust. That's very hard to find. I am only selling it because I pulled my camper with it and I needed a truck that could haul a golf cart in the bed and pull the camper at the same time. I had lots of fun with this truck and enjoyed restoring the truck to what I think is better than new mechanically. Suspension is better, nd gas mileage and power is better.
