Up for auction is an awesome 47 GMC half ton, ong bed, wheel pickup. Very original and very rare in as much as these were called "General Motors" trucks, ater to be abbreviated to GMC. As you can see from the photos this truck is in amazing original condition. Original drive line, 32 6 cylinder, speed floor shift. Runs very well, hifts very smoothly although sometimes if you do not catch it just right it needs a double clutch), ut just the very coolest to drive. We did a few minor mechanical repairs; plugs, oints, ires, nd extensive time spent on getting all lights to work, nd now they do. The clutch is great, nd the steering is very tight, ery minimal wander. It will run at about 45 mph. All gauges, ncluding fuel work properly except the speedo. Seat is in great shape, prings still strong. Windows roll nicely doors shut perfectly. ZERO rust anywhere. Please look at the photos carefully, nd yes, ll the paint (whatever is left) is original. This is real "patina", aturally affected paint from years of sun and weather exposure in Colorado. Colorado registration certificate included with original owners manual. It does drive great and very easy to operate, ngine does smoke a little. Also, he two spare tires are obviously not functional and they are both the wrong rims. I have a brand new exhaust that will be included or I may install before the end of the auction. I really don't even know why I'm listing this truck because it is truly amazing and I'll probably never find another quite like it but who knows. I usually advertise with an unknown reserve, ut this case is a bit different. I want $16000.00 and don't care if I don't sell it. Call me if you want to talk about it, love to bullshit about old trucks. I will consider trades for other trucks so feel free to reach out. Billy 203 676- 0890. It's really not for sale locally so let's see how this goes. If you hit the purchase price tab, ou own it. Please don't tell me you need a mechanic to look at it. If you need to have that happen come see it. I am in New Haven, Tand yes we have the worlds best pizza. Best of luck and Happy New Year.
