This 1980 GMC 1 ton full size pickup is obviously 36 years old, nd therefore does not look like, rive like or implied to be like a new truck. It has been a farm/ranch truck for nearly its whole life, f which it spent most of the last 15 years in an old ranchers barn where it was only started and run once in a while to jump start said ranchers old tractor while he was tinkeringwith it. Hence the low mileage. (105,497)The engine runs really strong and does not smoke. The entire drivetrain is tight and has no problems at all. It has a 4 speed manual transmission with the first gear being a lo-lo granny gear. It also has nearly new tires all the way around w/ the rear tires being a little more aggressive for mud and snow. I replaced the spark plugs, ires, istributor cap, otor, nd the coil in cap. Also I did a basic spray carb clean, uel filter, il filter and oil change.I purchased this truck a year ago, rove it to my ranch here in the San Luis Valley, nd used it only 1-2 times a month to haul my fresh water trailer approximately 20 miles round trip down the same dirt road. Therefore I never felt the need to register or insure it, s it has never been on public roads or highways. The title is an old style Colorado title with all the appropriate assignments and signatures with a blank assignment for the next buyer.(I wondered if the age of the title would be an issue, nd after calling the DMV, as assured that the age is not relevant as long as the appropriate assignments and signatures were done correctly)And so.....all in all,....It's a pretty good running, orta rough lookin' 36 year old truck that still has a lot of life left, nd work to do. In fact, ou could jump in and drive off with it just the way it is......but to be completely legal, ou would onlyneed to replace the windshield and get a new headlight.I am asking $1250.00 cash only,.. a very fair price for a good running (ugly) 1 ton HD pickup truck.
