'OL BLACK BETTY WENT A BAM DE BAM DE BAM. But in this case "Ol Black Betty is one really neat solid old 1954 GMC Rat Rod but is really a step up from what some would call an old welded together piece of junk that parts fall off of as your driving down the road. Black Betty is one neat old truck that has won trophies in every show she has entered. Started with a pretty decent, etter than a lot of em, body. Put a late model 6 cylinder motor and 3 speed tranny in her, ew brakes all the way around and installed disc brakes on all 4 wheels. Speedway kit was used as well as converting her to a standard Chevy 5 lug bolt pattern using the speedway conversion in the front and a late model Chevy blazer rear end. Entire drive train has less than 80,000 miles on it. Everything works as it should. The wheels are centered perfect in the wheel openings as they should be. This truck has made several trips over 250 miles one way so she is ready to hit the show circuit right now - buy her and cruise all spring and summer starting now. All lights work so drive her day and nigh, he won't let you down. If you want, ou could drive in to Middlesboro, entucky and drive her home as she is that nice or we night could meet you right off Exit 41 in London, entucky for easy access and save you about an hours drive. As you can see from the pictures she has some neat features from the airplane hood ornament to the massive - non working - backup camera - just for looks and a great conversation piece. Now that gas pedal you can't just find anywhere and compliments the rat look. You may have noticed there are 2 beer keg gas tanks in the back. Well folks to be honest one of them is a fine working gas tank. The other was used to haul a particular type drink that is still favoried here in the mountains of SE Kentucky - yep, t's hauled 15 gallons of white lightning a lot and can still be used to transport your beverage of choice to the show with you . The wheels are a rare magnesium wheel and you could probably sell them for a decent wage then use that money to put one of them nice sets of Boss 338', 8 & 20's on her. Put you a new set of bumpers, ront and rear and maybe one of them fancy painted up front grills. Now on most rat rods I would consider that putting lipstick on a pig - don't matter how much you put on her she's still a pig BUT not 'Ol Black Betty, he's a high class rat. She's kinda like a big ol fat butted woman - they need lovin too. Some gals you don't want to haul around till after dark but not Betty, he will have your friends drooling to take her for a ride, f you know what I mean!! If you wanted to dress Betty up a little with new tires and wheels, ew bumpers and a new grill, ake her out to victoria secret and buy her something nice then you could take her home and show her off to yo momma.
