Description of 1986 GMC Sierra 1500

Up for bids is a 1986 GMC Sierra Classic. 2 wheel drive truck. Guys or gals this is the one youve been waiting for. This truck isnt a show truck but its one of the sharpest daily driver trucks you will find. It is super sharp guys. the paint is fairly recent and it looks great. It has been sanded. buffed and polished to a mirror gloss. Check out the pics carefully as it shows how nice it really is. The truck has the V-8 with the automatic trans. It has cruise control and air conditioning which both work. Also. power steering and brakes. The truck sounds and runs great and the trans shifts right also. The truck has new brakes and new tires all around. The wheels are the factory rallys that came on it and they look very nice. The exhaust looks fairly new and it changes into duals from the converter back exiting in the rear. it sounds real nice but not to loud. The truck also has the dual tanks and they both work. The truck is solid underneath and the frame is solid also and has been reinforced where the steering box bolts on like they all eventually need. Its nice with no problems. The body on this truck is super solid with the only rust anywhere on it was a spot on each cab corner about the size of a quarter which was repaired correctly so you wont have to worry about it coming back for a very long time. The rocker panels. fenders. bed side panels are all rust free. Also the inside of the bed is very solid and no major dents at all. Like I said guys this truck is very solid. I wouldnt have put this much time and money in a truck that was a piece of junk. its very nice. As I said earlier the paint is fairly new and it looks great. It has also been painted inside of the doors. fenders etc. Its a two tone. gray with black and red stripes separating the colors. The truck also has new body side molding. new wheel well molding. new weatherstrip. new window felt. new grille and headlight doors. and a new splash pan below the front bumper. As I said. Ive put lots of money and time into this truck and it shows. Both of the bumpers are good driver quality. not perfect but nice and the front has new chrome bolts. Inside the truck is super nice also. It has a good dash pad. new headliner. new GM style seat upholstery. not a cheap seat cover guys. this one cost several dollars. The carpet is new. door panel pockets are new also. The door panels are fairly new and in good condition except for one small crack in the one for the drivers door. nothing major but trying to be honest about it all. All in all the inside looks great. check out the pics. The truck has an aftermarket CD player and a tilt wheel that has no play at all. All the gauges are there and work except for the amp gauge and the temp gauge works part time. not sure why but it runs cool as it should. The oil pressure gauge does work and believe it or not the clock works also. thats rare to find one of them that works in a truck this age. The interior also has some aluminum trim that really looks sharp and adds some class to the interior. check out the pics to see these. The seat belts have been dyed and look pretty good. Both windows work and have new power window switches installed and one of the power door locks is new also. There is a sliding rear window and and a switch on the side panel that turns on the rear cargo light. and yes it does work. Thats about it guys. this is a super sharp truck and with the new paint its one of the most beautiful drivers around. But that being said please dont expect perfection because after all it is a 86 model. This truck has been a daily driver so you know its reliable. If youve been looking for a nice 2 wheel drive shortbed with the v-8 automatic dont let this one get away. This is a lot of truck for the money. Ive put lots of time and money into it to make it as nice a driver as you will find. Its not a perfect show truck but I feel you will be very satisfied with it.
