Description of 1972 GMC Sprint |
||
Rare Opportunity 1972 GMC Sprint. Ground up restoration. Rebuilt to original condition. This vehicle is VERY RARE. In 72’ GM built 6473 Sprints, the GM version of the Chevy El Camino. Out of that number, only 149 were ever built with the 250 CID straight 6 engine. This vehicle is one of 149 ever built. Vehicle has under 80,000 miles total since new with less than 1500 miles since complete rebuild. Body was removed from frame. Frame was bead blasted and painted. Engine went through a complete overhaul as well as the Power Glide 2 speed transmission. All suspension parts were replaced. Original car had rear air shocks and they were included in this very accurate rebuild. Tires are new radials (original car had polyester but we thought better of replacing them with original). Only dealer option was the addition of an 8 track AM/FM radio, which works. Best part, no match book required. Car runs and handles GREAT! It’s a real head turner for those who know what they are looking at. Located in Northern Illinois, vehicle is garage kept. Currently at a location with a lift for an accurate inspection. I want you to be happy with your purchase. You will not be disappointed. Please note, I am selling this for a friend as he does not have ready access to the Internet nor an eBay account. I will need to contact him with any questions, please be patient. Terms of Sale:
