Description of 1948 GMC Other |
You are bidding on a 1948 GMC series 150 truck. Model FC 152. I am told this is the 3/4 ton truck. I believe it has the 228 engine in it and 4 spd transmission. I bought this truck with a couple others for parts so I don't know much about it besides every one wants the grill guard. There is NO title with this truck. just a bill of sale. I have the head it is just off the truck. It has been sitting a long time without the head on the block. There might be some parts missing to put the head back on. but the is a box of parts that goes with it. There is no rear axle or leaf springs but does have the drive line. The bed I'm told is the long bed with passenger side spare tire holder. The running boards have two3" wholes cut in them for what reason. I don't know. Cab is missing drivers door and some glass. Has a radio. heater. seat frame. and gas tank. It does have some rust above the drivers sun visor. other than that it is a very solid truck that came out of central Washington. The bed is in great shape along with front nose pieces. Please ask any questions you might have. Thanks for looking. I can and will assist in loading the truck. I $200 deposit is required thru Pay-pay no more than 24 hours after the end of auction. Balance is do no more than 7 days after the end of auction.
