Description of 1987 GMC Sierra 3500

Up for bids is a very nice 1987 GMC 3500 4X4 with a 454 V8 and a 4 speed manual transmission and Dana 60 axles. This truck was owned by HCL truck bed company out of Billings Montana. It was the truck they used at shows and sales events to show the beds that they built. Its a very well built bed on the back. I was told that the miles on the truck are actual but I have no way of knowing for sure but as clean as the truck is underneath its probably true. This truck still has paint on the frame from front to rear and both axles have black paint on them. This is a very solid truck. It did have a paint job back in the day when the bed was put on it. Its a single stage paint but still has a nice shine to it for a 20 year old paint job. This truck has a 4" lift with new springs in the front and blocks in the rear. all new shocks. steering dampener. stainless steel brake hoses up front. Hooker headers. dual exhaust. and 4 new Cooper Discoverer STT 265/75/16 with only a few hundred miles on them. The exhaust is not loud. just a nice sound a little above stock. The raw metal bracket on the bed of the truck was put on to haul a tank. I will remove it before the auction ends. Its looks much better without it and it has no other use. The Bad: It has a cracked windshield but I just bought a new one today and need to find someone to help me put it in. It has a little paint blister on the drivers side cab corner and on the passenger side lower fender. The small panel below the steering wheel is missing but I am trying to get one here before the sale ends. The seat is decent under the seat cover just dirty. The door panels are faded. Nothing serious. just trying to be up front about the truck as I can. LMC trucks has a new pair of door panels for $169. oo and a dash cover for $99. It wouldn't take much for this to be a beautiful vehicle. The truck starts right up quickly and goes down the road very nice. The clutch feels good and all the gears shift nicely. I just put a new battery in it so it starts great. It is a good solid truck with no rust holes. Its not perfect but I would say its as nice as they come without being a fully restored truck. I would love to keep this truck but I have to many projects and so this has to go. I require a nonrefundable $250. 00 Paypal deposit within 48 hours and the remaining balance is to be paid within 7 days. The truck can be taken once payment clears my bank. I have a clear title ready to go to its new owner. If the truck needs to be shipped the buyer is responsible to make those arrangements. I will help if I can.
