Description of 1972 GMC Sierra 1500 1500

For sale in our Dallas/Fort Worth showroom is this mean 1972 GMC Sierra 1500. This truck is far from ordinary, and has an extensive list of modifications. A rebuilt 454 bored to 498 CID and only 500 miles on the clock was chosen to rest under this hood, with a 498 Eagle rotating assembly, H-beam rods, .060 over JE pistons, and a steel crank. The motor has been internally balanced, and assembled with ARP head and main studs, a 2-bolt main, Comp Cams hydraulic roller cam (.630 lift and 252 duration), Comp Cams pushrods, springs, roller rockers, and engine bolts, and all Fel-Pro gaskets. Capping off the engine assembly is a Miloden flywheel, Melling high volume oil pump, Moroso stroker oil pan and windage tray, new Canton oil dip stick, new GM water pump, Edelbrock dual quad carburetors and intake manifold finished in EnduraShine, and chrome headers. The engine has been set up ready for a supercharger and is running a 9.0:1 compression ratio. This beast is mated to a TH400 rebuilt by Ricks Racing in Calgary with a Gear Vendors overdrive, and a rebuilt GM rear end with 3.73 gears and posi-track. Line-lock has been built into the horn to make sure those General Grabbers are ready to hook up all the power this engine churns out.

The Custom work doesn't stop there. This exterior has been painted with Debeers black with purple mother of pearl finish. This truck changes to all kinds of different colors depending on the light. The gas tank has been relocated under the bed, and one of the stained wood panels lifts on actuators to reveal the filler cap. All of the moldings, weather stripping, glass, bumpers, mirrors, emblems, lights, and accessories have been replaced with new parts. Moving inside, the door panels, arm rests, dash pad, carpet, headliner, and chrome have been replaced with new parts. Vintage air has been installed, and the vinyl seats have a custom black Ostrich inserts. This truck has been put together properly. Saying that there are too many beautiful custom and refurbished touches to mention on this vehicle is by no means a stretch of the truth.
