1961 GMC 1000 series pickup with a brand new 8' wood bed. Just like the Chevy C10 except a slightly different front end. The truck runs and drives great! The truck has a brand new battery and fires right up. The brakes and lines were rebuilt before the last owner parked the truck and I replaced most of the fuel lines and fuel pump after flushing the fuel system. I date coded the engine intake and a couple websites said the engine is a Chevy 283 from 58/59. The 4 speed transmission with the low granny gear is also not original to the truck but works great though this is not a truck to run 75 MPH. There are 2 things that I know don't work: the odometer and the temperature gauge. The outside of the truck has that unique rat rod look that people love these days. There were some holes in the floor but no one wants to drive like Fred Flintstone so I welded in floor patches, sealed the seams, sprayed truck bedliner on the floor, and under body coating underneath. I have a clean blue title for the truck. Come and take the truck for a spin!
