Description of 1979 GMC Sierra 1500

This is a 1979 GMC Sierra long bed pickup. I use it as a daily driver and hate to see it go. but I have a company truck and no longer need it. The engine runs great and starts up every time. The paint and cosmetics of the truck are in good shape. but it's definitely not a show truck. The paint is chipping and faded in some areas and the trim pieces have been removed as you can see in the pictures. but still looks pretty decent. The air blower is working. but the A/C and heat don't. The power steering stopped working about a year ago. but I drive it fine without it. It has an Edelbrock carburetor that's about a year old. The Cooper Cobra tires are from Discount Tires and have plenty of tread left. Comes with the Husky truck box and rubber mat in the bed. Odometer says 22. 00. but title says exempt so I'm assuming it's 122. 00. All headlights. taillights. brake lights. signal lights. and hazard lights work. Has an aftermarket CD player with an outlet to connect your phone. The seat has the two rips in it that you can see in the picture. but the fabric is in good shape and the rips are on the seams. It has an aftermarket sunroof that tilts up and the headliner has been removed. The power windows and locks don't work. but I do have the motors and switches (not sure if they work) and I never got around to messing with them. The windshield wipers work and the front windshield has a crack in it. but has been sealed and I never have a problem with it. The registration and inspection is current. I have a snap on Tonneau cover that I will include with the sale. I also have an A/C compressor that came with the truck when I bought it. but I'm not sure if it works and never tried to put it in. Speedometer and fuel gauge work. Back window is in good shape and has a very dark tint. There's a small dent on the back passenger side that you can see in one of the pictures. I tried to include pictures of any body blemishes. It's a great looking truck and has a lot of potential with a little TLC. but it will definitely get the job done as is!
