Description of 1973 GMC Vandura

Up for sale is my 1973 GMC Vandura van. It is a short wheel base with a 250 inline 6 and a 3 speed auto transmission with 87042 miles on it. Runs and drives but needs more tlc to make it road worthy. All the lights work. the transmission shifts smoothly through all 3 gears. This was an old southwestern bell van that seems to have been pretty well taken care of. The good:I recently replaced the spark plugs. all fuses. flashers. valve cover gasket and gave it an oil and coolant changeStraight bodyRear tires in good shapeOriginal leather seats in good shapeAll glass is still in good shapeWindows roll up and down smoothlyAll weather stripping still seals properly No leaksThe bad:Needs a new exhaust manifold gasket and carb coverThe horn currently is not working and the drivers inside door mechanism needs to be replacedNeeds new front tiresRoof needs to be repaintedThis would make a perfect blank canvas for any project like an a-team replica or a cool band van or a old 70s shag carpet cruiser.
